How would learning connect to research?
Approved research findings could inform teaching design. Participation in any research study would be separately explained and agreed; ordinary enrolment would not imply research consent.
Would learners work on commercial projects?
Suitably assessed learners could be considered for supervised opportunities. Access would depend on readiness, available projects and agreed terms. The group proposal does not guarantee placements or employment.
Who would issue qualifications?
Each programme must identify its actual awarding or certificate-issuing body. SIT-issued course certificates must be clearly distinguished from externally regulated qualifications and university awards.
